Homemade Pesto Hummus

Ingredients

1 (15-ounce) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed

2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

½ cup basil leaves

½ cup lemon juice

2 tablespoons pine nuts

3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

½ cup tahini

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon pepper

½ teaspoon garlic powder

Directions

Add the chickpeas, Parmesan cheese, basil, lemon juice, pine nuts, extra-virgin olive oil, tahini, salt, pepper, and garlic powder into a food processor.

Process until smooth. (Add a bit more lemon juice or olive oil to thin out the consistency.)
